Additional advice for applying face masks for radiant skin
In order to get the expected results with these masks, it is important that you keep the following in mind:
- Apply the masks to clean skin. While some masks exfoliate, they work faster if you wash your face first with water and a neutral soap.
- Prepare these masks as you need them and try not to leave them on for more than two hours. If you leave them on longer, some ingredients may lose their properties and become less effective.
Ideally, use fresh produce and choose ingredients that are in good condition. In the case of papaya or banana, you can choose one with a certain degree of ripeness, as long as the pulp has not decomposed of course!
